I couldn’t go pink without re-posting….

October 3, 2007

This post supporting this fact:

You don’t have to have a lump to have breast cancer.

Get checked.

If you don’t know where to go.

Go here. Or here.

And call your Ob/Gyn or your General Practitioner.

Tell him/her, you have never checked/are afraid to check/feel something in/are worried about something having to do with your breasts. They will help you.

Love yourself.

  4. I got my boobies squished last week. I think they may be even smaller now, certainly flatter.

  5. Now everytime I see your blog tihs month, (and everyone else, too) I’ll be reminded of how important it is to be in touch with my body.

    Thanks.

  6. Awareness is a woman’s greatest ally in the battle against breast cancer. Thanks for the post and getting the word out.

Lost my Mom a little over a year ago to this shitty cancer….It’s one of the few things I’m ever serious about.

  7. You know, I have never been checked. I have been told to do at home monthly examinations on myself but everything feels lumpy lol I don’t think I will ever be able to figure out the difference between regular ‘lumpyness’ or a tumor….yea, my boobs sound gorgeous right about now lol jk. You have inspired me to get checked out Thanks Janet!

  8. Very nice! I think this is a very important cause……there is no sense in not checking yourself!
