The only day of the year

You’ve been so happy lately
Is this my present?

Getting all the attention
is for me, not you!”

pay attention MOM!”

What’s the matter Fa?
The screaming isn’t working?
Not with me it won’t!

You will never be
praised for negative actions
I thought you knew that!

Along with aging,
Got a crappy haircut too!
Having a bad month!

February chill
Dark, raw days and long, cold nights
My heart can’t take it.

Too much sadness here
Need to loosen its firm grip
My only constant

The jackpot of life
The blissful living I’m in
is overshadowed

Too many leaving
Too many already left
In my heavy heart

Celebrating me
Tonight in the Big Apple
Tomorrow The Pro

Leap Year, Extra Day
What will I do with the time?
