Friday again?

March 14, 2008

Haiku Friday

It happens so fast
Weeks passing by in a blur
Just not in the mood.

It lost it’s luster
This thing that we call blogging
Think I need a break

Hai-Who?

March 7, 2008

Haiku Friday

Stuffing banana
into starving belly now
Still, no time to eat

How did Friday come?
The week flew by in a blur.
What’s my name again?

Happy? Haiku Day…(Scattered version)

February 29, 2008

Haiku Friday

Happy Birthday me!
The only day of the year
That Fa is a bitch!

What the fuck happened?
You’ve been so happy lately
Is this my present?

“Crappy Birthday Mom!
Getting all the attention
is for me, not you!”

“I am the center
of your universe always,
pay attention MOM!”

What’s the matter Fa?
The screaming isn’t working?
Not with me it won’t!

You will never be
praised for negative actions
I thought you knew that!

Along with aging,
Got a crappy haircut too!
Having a bad month!

February chill
Dark, raw days and long, cold nights
My heart can’t take it.

Too much sadness here
Need to loosen its firm grip
My only constant

The jackpot of life
The blissful living I’m in
is overshadowed

Too many leaving
Too many already left
In my heavy heart

Celebrating me
Tonight in the Big Apple
Tomorrow The Pro

Leap Year, Extra Day
What will I do with the time?
Is sleeping allowed?

Haiku, I Need to stop crying, Friday.

February 22, 2008

Haiku Friday

I feel so lonely.
A friend across the country
Memories left here.

Trying to figure
why I let girlfriends do this
never let a boy

treat me so poorly?
Would’ve walked right out the door
never looking back

But with my girlfriends,
The very few that I have
I am their carpet.

One best friend moved far.
Asked one as Maid of Honor.
Scared to fly for me.

made it about her
told me I was so selfish
to get married far

Third, is very dark
her energy brings me down
Makes me feel darker

Boyfriends have come, gone
as soon as they misbehaved
they were out the door!

Luckily I blog.
So many wonderful friends
lifting me up high

When I need it most
Hope I can reciprocate
When you need me too.

My eyes are puffy
I need to stop crying now
concealer in need!

Haiku Headache

February 8, 2008

Haiku Friday

Brain Cells are numbing
The headache isn’t ceasing
I’m like a lump here

I need some relief
some sort of escape from it,
the constant pressure

Nose is on fire
eyeballs are hurting, tearing
will this feeling end?

On the brighter side
Flavor of Love season three
makes me love TV.

VH1 rocks so
Reality TV rules
Can’t keep my eyes off

Watching other’s lives
Like a serious car crash
Lightens my load some

Bret Michaels, Brady,
Celebrity Rehab, wow.
Scott Baio Baby

Makes me so happy
makes me feel a bit normal
mindless TV rules!

Helps me to forget
6 month mammogram today
check yourselves ladies!

Haiku Brainfart

January 25, 2008

Haiku Friday

I got nuthin’ here.
No clue what to write about.
Sorry for delay.

I’m pissy and mean
I yell at Fa all day long
Mother Guilt sucks balls

I am happy though
Whymommy is cancer Free!
Deeply, flows my joy

If only I could
forget the pain from the past
like I lose my keys

PMS doesn’t
help much at all when my mood
keeps me on the edge

Fa ran to basement
to tell me she had to pee
on basement rug, soaked.

The only floor here
With wall to wall carpeting
That’s what she runs for

oh the life we live
with our little ones in tow
their life not our own

How’s that for brainfart?
I always say I’m empty…
verses flow nicely.

Have a good weekend
I’ll see you again Monday
Weekend is for rest

Haiku Groovy

January 18, 2008

Haiku Friday

It’s my new best friend
Gimme some tune dot com
Tells me everything

Works with your iTunes
automatic downloading
everything you need!

We can be such geeks
Old, married couple, lap tops
downloading lyrics

Words I never knew
iPod is never the same
Where are Pascal’s songs?

Disappointed some
most lyrics already known
some are too obscure

London Quireboys?
Really, never heard of them?
You can’t tell me that!

Update library
Don’t have all the TNT?
Not into 80’s?

Another time suck
Like I’ve nothing else to do
that can be this fun!

Even my Reader
has suffered a bit this week
thanks to this new toy

Want some more…Go here too. You people are so talented!

Go see Christina to sign Mr. Linky next week and every week after that until “le binky bitch’s” further notice on her move!
